Who is Turner?

I’ve been teaching in a variety of capacities for over 10 years including: art mentoring at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, music technology and theory at Rutgers University, and percussion lessons at Athens Community Music School. My woodworking journey started when I was 10 by working with my father who is an interior design professor, continued with instrument building, and has led me to fine woodworking. I enjoy creating from wood that has been foraged or gifted, most often gathering pieces from local community members who needed to have a tree trimmed or taken down. My work is inspired by the unique composition of each piece of wood, and I enjoy highlighting the aspects that make each piece unique!
